Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our Client's dynamic HR team for a 3 week plus contract in Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of human resources management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Manage data collection and maintain accurate employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Manage attendance management system for inputs, accuracy and recording of leaves, absences and vacations
  • Utilize HR software such as Kronos, UltiPro to streamline HR operations.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team by preparing reports, maintaining files, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address concerns and provide guidance on HR-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Certificate in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years proven experience in human resources
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with Kronos, UltiPro, is a plus.
  • Strong data collection and analytical skills to support decision-making processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of change management principles is advantageous.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
