Miles HR is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join the finance team of a downtown Vancouver Insurance firm. This company takes pride in maintaining accurate records and providing exceptional service to their clients, and we’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and proven data entry experience to support accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets
  • Assist in accounts payable and receivable tasks
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and statements
  • Maintain organized records of all transactions
  • Support the finance team in daily administrative tasks
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data entry or as an Accounting Assistant (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with accounting software SAGE 50 is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
