Professional downtown Vancouver law firm is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for a minimum 2-month contract. If you're an experienced LA, organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a supportive role, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to senior lawyers, including managing schedules, correspondence, and filing legal documents
  • Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence
  • Assist with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files
  • Coordinate communication between clients, courts, and other stakeholders
  • Perform legal research as needed
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year recent work experience experience as a legal assistant 
  • Legal Assistant Certificate an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and PC Law
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures required
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines 
  • Able to start immediately
